A shocking 58% of motorists in the United Kingdom have been victims of road rage in the past year, according to research conducted by Sainsburys Car Insurance.

Yorkshire, Humberside, West Midlands, North West and Eastern regions reported figures of above 60%, and South West had the highest percentage at 65%. Of these drivers, 330,000 had been physically assaulted.

Most car insurance companies, however, do not cover personal injury from road rage.
